East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. is installing warning lights at the intersection of Jalan Laut Arafuru - Jalan Laut Banda, Duren Sawit. It will be conducted in eight locations this year.

Andreas Eman, Section Head of Traffic for East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. said, it is done to follow up the proposal of citizens. "It's to avoid traffic accidents and create a sense of security and comfort for the rider," he stated, Tuesday (7/10).

It is hoped riders could be more cautious again in driving.

According to him, those eight locations are at Jalan Raya Bogor with three spots. They are in front of Gelael Ciracas shopping center, in front of Pasar Rebo Sub-district office, and at intersection of Jalan Raya Kalisari.

It is also installed in front of Susukan Urban Village Office on Jalan H. Baping, near SMP PGRO 2 Buaran, Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, near SMPN 195 Duren Sawit, Jalan Buluh Perindu, at intersection of Jalan Dr. KRT Radkiman - Jalan Swadaya, and at intersection of Jalan Laut Arafuru - Jalan Laut Banda, Duren Sawit.
